This is the work Tumbling Joe, a unique Native American artist who uses moving wagon wheels as easels. He rolls along with them, painting -- it's amazing to watch. In this case the wheel was moving too fast and he unable to finish all the panels before getting dizzy.

Unlike Pillars of the Earth there was no third generation to finish this house of worship. Beautiful piece of work though.

boy he had me going.... thought that man knows his stuff... a closer looks says stylization is egyptian - a roof with beams? my first thought was one of those magician wheels where the girl is strapped in, twirled and has knives thrown at her. I been at the computer way too long today.

word verf.... crasher - thats me after a full day of work.

QMM - That sounds like the beginning to a novel.
GV - I like the carnival slant you've taken.

Hmmm...not sure that I have a guess other than it is Egyptian drawings on the ceiling of an outdoor cabana of some sort???? Whatever it is, it is gorgeous!

Michelangelo painted at St. Peter's Square. This is the little known work of his sister. Michellengelo, at St. Peter's Circle. It's called "Roundabout Town".

A painting on a ceiling of a museum perhaps?

Egyptian? No, no: the figures look more Greek, though the decoration on the beams looks more eastern european. A ceiling of some sort. A small outdoor theater, or gazebo?

I would say what NanU said. a ceiling mural.
