My Town Shoot Out - Music 1/6/2011

I know I've been completely absent from the MTSO for I can't remember how long, but I thought I could try to get here more often.

For music in my town, there really isn't a huge scene for live entertainment. I get my fill of live music from The Oldest and his friends - What you can see in this photo is a selection of his instruments:
What you don't see in this image is the ukulele, drum pad and drum sticks on his bed, a kid sized six string hanging on the wall, or the box of instruments which include another kid sized 6 string, a steel drum, a snare drum, a melodeon, several shakers and fish and frogs, a recorder and a triangle. You also don't see the bin full of sheet music and chord charts and lyrics.

Happy Friday everyone!

Good to see you back again. Must be lovely living in a house with so much music although, to be honest, I didn't appreciate it when my kids were young and torturing different instruments.

My sons and the hubby only play the guitar but the house is always noisy from some kind of music- from the radio/DVD/PC/tv..I love the peace and quiet when they are not at home!

Yes, it is great to have a collection of instruments in the house. I like yours particularly because mine are all in the closet. Glad you are back participating again.

Glad you are back. Love all those instruments. This seems a popular topic with everyone.

It's fun to see you again. And that wall of instruments looks like it could be in my house, seriously.

Very interesting collection of instruments. I love to see any one play. I forgot I have a uke and a dulcimer. My violin got broken a few years back.
