My Town Shoot Out - Outdoor Food

This week's theme courtesy of Girlichef is Outdoor Food. I had another fur butt encounter that caused me to use these shots for the theme. I encourage you to go and see everyone's contributions here!
This is our cat. She is a good mouser. She brought this one into the house and after I chased them both outside, I was convinced the mouse would scurry to a safer place. I think he either had a death wish, or wanted to play.
She's got this thing in her mouth, and I've locked them both outside. The last think I need is another smelly bloated carcass turning up.She played with this pour or perhaps misguided mouse for a good 2 hours, and I never did find it dead later, so maybe they are now playmates...She doesn't really like her cat food, and so has been supplementing with rodents. I think the Jays like her food though!

Very creative. I would have never thought of doing the pet food thing. I like your take on this theme.

Wow! Now that is the creative essence of outdoor food. Thematically my favorite. And Bagman's all time favorite. Butler is a bit digusted.

Ha! We moved into a new apartment a few months ago and discovered that there were mice getting in from outside - gross for us, THRILLING for my cat :) Awesome pictures!

Very clever. I nearly took some pics of the sheep in fields "roast lamb" but thought I may offend. Your pics were great x

Well what was I thinking?? Humans are the only ones who eat outside!

Brilliant!

J9, you crack me up! My bumper sticker says, "I like cats.....under my tires!" I do like your mouser cat, though. He can hold his head high.
By tomorrow afternoon, I need your pick (only one) for the photo of the week for outdoor food. Email it to me or email me and let me know which one it is so that I can go to the member's blog and copy it.
Oh, and another thing. All of the armadillos in Florida are laughing at you for calling them all of those silly things.

I've been making my way through the shoot-out, drooling over so many blogs but I am no longer hungry!!! Way to think outside the box, though! Gotta love your creativity :)

great catcher! I never thought to go that route...I could have taken pictures of my dog killing birds in the backyard.

Very creative take on the theme. :)
