My Town shoot Out - Relaxation

This week, Lena of Spirit of Lena (SOL) suggested the topic 'Relaxation'. "My idea for relaxation was anything or place that fill people with a sense of calmness or relaxation, like a favorite garden, sitting on the porch, or park, etc. Anyplace that fills them with a sense of happiness and calm." SOL I encourage you to go and see everyone's contributions here!
I initially was going to post photos of far flung destinations that I think of when I think "relaxation", but then I thought that there are a ton of things you can do to relax right here in and around the Tri-Valley.
Before you start climbing the walls:
Take some time to stop and smell the roses at Osage Park Rose Garden:People take naps to relax and unwind:Or go to the lake:Acting goofy can be great relaxation:
You can mosey down to Little Yosemite and skip rocks:Or lie on the sand and watch pelicans in Pescadero:
Sometimes a water day is the perfect way to relax:
Let's not forget the restorative powers of a good soak in the tub:
Many folks find relaxation and comfort in faith:
My before bed routine often includes Chamomile Tea, which helps me relax!
I hope you all have a relaxing weekend!

I like the pelicans, I have never seen them in flight. You were lucky to have captured them.

I don't normally eat out or have take away. When i do, I really relax. We too, a very health conscious.

The last post was sent by me, but erroneously not signed out my daughter Gabrielle's google account. That gabby is not her either, though she does go by that name. This gabby must be french. When gabrielle was little, she had a french woman emailing her.

Have a relaxing weekend.

Cheers,

Ann :)

The children's faces, especially the one napping were delightful.

A really good selection!

Beautiful interpretation of the theme. I'm amazed you were able to capture that shot of the skipping stone!

I shouldn't be looking at these pictures in the morning before work...I now want to drink tea and take a bath but instead have to take a fast shower and swig coffee.

I have always found that my children have a way of grounding me and "making" me relax by what they say, what they do and their smiles. Great shots!

I really enjoyed your post starting with those two little adorable feet on the fence. Watching the birds fly, soaking in water and drinking tea are all good ways to relax. Have a peaceful weekend, J9!

J9, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post a comment. There is no doubt in my mind that you know how to relax. You have spunk. I liked the shot of climbing the chain link fence.
