My annual putting hats on anything that isn't nailed down post

So last year I adopted the tradition of my dear friend and started putting hats on the pictures around my house. This year I added several portraits, and even made mouse ear hats for in-laws who love Disney.

And if you can name this image, you win a WHATZIT prize, no fair if you were with me when I bought it, or at the event where it was purchased - really this is more for Gordon, and a little bit for Bagman...

More to come on the aftermath of Christmas :-)

Fab tradition you have, I may pinch it for next year!

Bagman is jumping up and down and guffahing and whooping...What fun! If you don't mind, I think I may borrow that tradition but ammend it to be all different kinds of hats! I love it.

Oh J9 you are so fun! I do not think I have ever thought of this before, and to think I received a santa hat that is still on the front door, and never made it on my own head!

Too cute!

I think that must be you in the last shot. Wowser! Wowser!
Just kidding, or maybe I'm not. Is it a tropical drink or mint advertisement?

P.S. ....I didn;t know you are married to Jay Leno!

The Dude does kind of look like Leno, and no it isn't me in the last one - nor is it an advertisement.

Is it a record cover?

J9 said...

Closer you get, but farther too. Music is related, that much is true.

Is it a box?

Is it a movie poster for a musical? Something like..."_____ Minds"

Gordon said...

Is this just a portion of the total picture depicted?

J9 said...

It is a portion of the total, and a poster as well. A record albumn it is not, though the artist is known quite well.

I am affraid I don't know much about posters, art or musicals. It appears to be from a movie like South Pacific, but I really don't have a clue.

Is it from an Elvis movie?

J9 said...

It is from Gordon's Home State, though further south from him. Bob Masse is the artist, and it is limited, numbered nd signed. Any other takers out there before I give the answer?

It's a poster from the 1998 Meeting of the Minds Parrothead Convention (http://lyricsmusic.name/img/posters/47/388551.jpg).

Sandy R is right indeed!

That is too funny. Been missing getting around to your site. Perhaps 2010 will be better for me time-wise.
