ScienceGirl came up with this week's shoot out, and I couldn't be happier that I'd already shot some of this. As you may have noticed, this week has been exceptionally rough, though in the grand scheme of things, it could be worse, and I am grateful that I have what I do, my family, and my friends. Everything else is just stuff, and not worth the worry.
I recommend going to look at everyone's home towns. You can find us all in the comments of Patty or Reggie Girl's Blogs, or in the sidebar from Gordon or GingerV.
As I've written about before, the San Francisco Bay Area has BART.
As I've written about before, the San Francisco Bay Area has BART.
We also have Wheels (our bus system). Also there is the Iron Horse Trail, named for the railroad tracks that were previously here, and now a paved trail for bikes, pedestrians, and horses.
I also included a shot of my bike - panniers, coffee cup holder and all - hanging on the rack in my garage.
I hope you all have a great weekend!

You, too! Have a great weekend!
Wait for me!
Awesome post!
G'day nice to meet you ....
Love your photos, thank you for your comments on mine.
I see ..you are in a transitional phase ....can be pretty tough ...I thought you might like an extra cheer squad member ..so I've joined as a follower.
Breathe ......everything is going to unfold.
Glad to see more.
Very nice photos. Your post reminded me that my dad used to travel to SF as a consultant for BART.
Great shots, the first one made me think of the song Riding on the Metro by Berlin...:-)
Excellent J9! Love that picture of the speeding BART!
I am so sorry you had such a tough week. Here is to a great weekend!
Your photos are simply stunning. I loved each one...but my fave? The subway train that was a blur. That one is way cool. Kind of like YOU!
:D
Now I feel lazy not going to the subway and shooting! I like your shots, they ring out loud!
Great shots! It was wonderful to find out how everybody goes around in their town. Have a great weekend :)
I remember the BART. I was there in 1977. Has it changed much?
Nice shots! And to post after such a hellish week...been there before... many years lived in the land of sucky jobville, with no support system. Still there, but have a great support system now with freedom on the horizon...
I'm with Sarah Lulu and gonna join the cheer squad. A couple of things that get me through particularly hard phases:
1. Have fun at least once a day.
2. Look and or listen to something that you find extraordinarily beautiful.
3. Create a vision board. (I will post mine tomorrow, with how I did it...but it's basically a collage of whatever makes you smile.)
4. Get together with girl friends.
5. Read anything by Janet Evanovich.
6. Find a picture of your "happy place" and put it on your desk.
7. Hold your job loosely, meaning do your best and give God the rest. (my dad always said that)
8. Know thyself. Except thyself. Love thyself.
9. Take a deep breath of acceptance in and exhale disappointment out.
10. Stand up and stretch. Stick out your tongue. And smile.
