This week's shoot out theme is courtesy of Cindy of ...Just Alaska. I encourage you to go and see everyone's contributions here!
I have lots of places around my town that are favorites for various reasons.
My favorite place to think is my own backyard:
My favorite place to eat is Casa Orozco, a really good and authentic Mexican Restaurant, though that may be due to my recent craving for good, cheese laddened food:
My favortie place take The Boys for a relaxing afternoon is Kolb Park:My favorite place to dream of is Key West, Florida. It has been a number of years since my last visit, and I long for the humidity, the smell of the air, the slow pace, and the food, OMG the food! Oh, and it is a terrific place to shop and people watch.
My favorite place to be is with my family and friends, and doesn't have to be in my town, though most of the time it is. Happy Weekend all!

Lovely ..and happy weekend to you!
Nice!! Happy Friday :)
I like that you like to be with your family, hope you enjoy this weekend with them.
Dang, this one is fun! I'm going out of town and leaving GMR, NQFD, and ML to the porch settin'.....maybe I can catch up my shootouts later!
love the scenes here!
I've always wanted to see Key West. Love the boy on the swing!
Agree - love to be with my loved ones. Have a great weekend!
Very nice J9. I enjoyed googling your town.
The shot of your boys on the swings is great!
Casa Orozco sounds good; I wish I could swing by but it's just a liitle too far. I really like the rearing horse out in front of it!
J9, I share your passion for cheese ladened food and Key West. Imagine eating Mexican food in Key West, with a dessert of Key Lime pie...oh my goodness!!
Thanks for the great post!!
Wonderful!
Smiles.
J9, you are the first person, besides myself, I've met who longs for the smell of humidity and to be in the midst of it. Yay, I'm not crazy by myself.
Love all your favorites. That restaurant looks very familiar to me. My husband and I stopped and ate at a mexican restaurant somewhere in California in 2006 while we were on vacation. I swear this looks just like it. Now, I'll have to look Dublin up on-line. Is it more Northern California?
Anyhow, great post.
Some good favorites and happy weekend too!
<><
I love how you took a different angle and gave us many of your favorite places! Nice pictures!
Love the pics of Key West...Idream of being there myself!

I love your pictures. The tex mex restaurant sounds and looks very yummy. Have a super weekend with family. Thank you for sharing.
You have some great favourites there J9! And Casa Orozco looks like a delicious place to eat!
Lovely photos. I can imagine enjoying myself there, too.
Lovely place by the water.
All about the food, huh? And family! What kind of trees are those in you back yard? I could daydream for a nice long time in all that green!
I love my back yard too.
Have a great weekend.
Another great places. Thanks for sharing! I love the second photo most and the boys looked happy and enjoying
I saw your comment on MTSO about wanting to post larger pictures on your blog. It took me forever to learn how to do that, but I found directions at www.blogdoctor.me/2006/10/how-to-change-width-of-blog.html. I downloaded the directions if you can't find them and would be happy to sent them to you of you can't find them.
You need to change the width of the center part of your blog to accommodate the larger pictures. Once you do that, you upload pics to something like photobucket or picasa web albums and select the photo link in a larger size. Copy that html into the blog and presto, large photos.
If you need help let me know. Good luck.
Your back yard looks relaxing. You should have photographed your hubby cutting the yard. Restaurant looks yummy. I have not had my breakfast yet and now I am thinking about lunch. I may have brunch today.
Key West? It is like my town but with people. Heehe. I don't think I would not like my town open 24/7 but I sure like to go to Key West.
I like to put on a calf-length hippie skirt (I would pull it up just a little for Bagman), some classy sandals, a sleeveless black top, my sun hat and rent a bike (with a basket for at least one camera) and ride all day. In my travels I enjoy talking to locals and entertainers, and listening to the stories they tell. I also love the characters that hang out at the bars. So interesting.
I am packing now. Do you want to meet me at the Alabama line?
That swing photo is so fun - you caught the perfect moment!
Beautiful!
I saw a swing set...when my kids were little I would swing with them, and now and then go jump in one!
Love the photos of you and the cat!
Have a good weekend, and I will be back to check out the building study post!
