My Town Shoot Out - Gardens

This week's theme comes courtesy of Gigi and the theme is gardens. Because I have been VERY busy with our out of town guest. We had a complete blast, btw...
I recommend going to look at everyone's home towns. You can find us all in the comments of Patty or Reggie Girl's Blogs, or in the sidebar from Gordon or GingerV.

I have been remiss in my posting. However, I did get some AWESOME shots of the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park! OK, so it isn't specifically my home town, but it is the major metropolis I am near. And because there are no rules, I decided that it would be OK to post these!
And I decided to post from my own garden window:
And my own backyard garden too:
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend - and technically, it still is Friday where I live!

I love those tea gardens! Since there are no rules you'd have to try hard to break them ;)

You are a trip girl! You apologize and then give us a tremendous post. I enjoyed it. Not as much as stumping you on the whatzit, though. R2D2, may the force be with you.

Hey, gardens are gardens! And that garden looks spectacular. And all seedlings are so full of promise and life. Always enjoy seeing them struggling to rfeach fulfillment.

Rachel - Thanks, I think the tea gardens are just about my favorite part of GG Park!

Gordon - That's me, avid researcher and weirdo photographer!

Ed - I recommend them because there is just so much to shoot in such a small space! This is only one of 5 botanical gardens I was near or in that day!

Si - I agree, I love watching my garden start to sprout!

Doreen - Thanks, and I love water, so I often end up with something water related in each series of photos.

Is that a photo of you, girl? Nice to be able to put a face to your blog. Based on your profile photo, I thought you were about 8 years old.

Anyway, I have had a really "go-go" week. I just finally sat down to play catch up with everyone.

Looks like we have more shooters. This thing is going to grow! And you were one of the first ones who joined our little gang.

I understand about being late. I think we all get stressed out when we are hitting out Friday deadline, but we shouldn't because this is supposed to be fun.

Anyway, after the two days I have had, it was nice to sit down and see you gardens. I needed a little zen this evening.

Great photos, all!

Have a great weekend.

Patty - that isn't me - it's my guest for the last week, Mariann. We did have a blast running all over the area! I do love the Friday shootouts, but it took me almost all day just to comment on them all - it has really expanded, and I think that's cool - we all get to see so much more of the world that way.

I love the close up approach of new shoots coming out and the water gardens with the sculpted birds.

With postings you are quite a star,
But, just remember who you are.
You're the one who will opine
About being stumped by #9.
The WHATZIT curse I now impart
Into your blog to pierce your heart!
