Tableau Tuesday 4/28/09

I know, I know, it's actually Wednesday or even Thursday by now, and I have no excuse, so I will give none. Suffice it to say the The Dude has been on a rampage lately, and his Karma bit him in the ass. He fell through a ceiling, only injuring himself in a minor way (a big scrape, messed up knee, and charley horse). It would have been much worse had the bracing been missing, or non-existent and that would have made the stopping point, his family jewels. Given his size (6'2", eyes of blue - wait, oh wait FOCUS... oh right, weighing in at about 280) he would have truly injured not only his pride, but his pride and joy. Why is it that The Dude works his Little Dude's size into many conversations? I won't thrill, repulse or possibly bore you with the actual measurement, if you've had any conversations with him IRL, you already know anyway.

And now for the photos I've taken recently, many of which have been posted here, and some I played with for different effects just because I can. I am going to try some photos with insane depth of field, though I never have much luck with that for some reason - back to my camera book to see about multiple focal points.....

That is some Dude story. What are we going to do with him?

I love the cat and insect photo.

Hope you are doing well, J9. Don't let the Dude get you down.

GingerV - yeah, my life is a series of stories!

Iasa - I wish I knew, but more importantly, why isn't it raining men? Thanks - I thought the mosquito hawks were cool too!

Patty - He may have dampened my spirits, but with 2 cups of coffee this morning, I feel like I could conquer the world! The insects are mosquito hawks, and the cat is my furry butt, Daisy.
